We used Matt for projects in our master bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, living room, dining room, basement and even our front door. “When we were wanting to redo our entertainment system cabinet a few years ago, I remembered a fellow that had refinished a rocking chair about ten years earlier and found his card in my file. It was Matt Pugh from Finish Matters. One call and he was here to look at the project and discuss, with us, possibilities for redesign. I had a lot of oak and was ready for an updated look. Matt lined us up with a woodworker who redesigned the cabinet and then it was painted by Matt. I was concerned about the paint bleeding into the wood but Matt assured me that his product and method prevented this from happening. We have been extremely pleased with the finished product.
Since then we have had our custom kitchen cabinets and Amana dining room furniture painted by Matt. He is a perfectionist. His meticulous work with the wood – smooth as glass – and attention to detail is second to none. Everything that could be done at his shop was, but the kitchen cabinets were done in the house. He was very considerate in covering and protecting areas that were exposed. We have been very pleased with his work and will always utilize his services for painting/refinishing our furniture and cabinets.”
